Ulsan City Holds Safety Stakeholders' Meeting Ahead of Children's Day Event

April 25: Review of Safety Measures to Prevent Accidents
On-Site Inspection of the Entire Venue Scheduled for May 2

On April 25 at 10:30 a.m., the Ulsan city government will hold a safety stakeholders' meeting in the Citizens' Hall on the first floor of the city council building to review safety measures for the upcoming 103rd Ulsan Children's Day Grand Festival, which will be held at Ulsan Grand Park on May 5.

Approximately 30 participants, including representatives from Ulsan Nambu Police Station, Nambu Fire Station, the Ulsan City Marine Corps Veterans Association, and organizations operating promotional booths, will attend the meeting. The agenda includes safety management training and a comprehensive discussion of all aspects related to the event's implementation.

In particular, as around 20,000 children and their families are expected to participate in the Children's Day celebration, a professional instructor will provide safety education to prevent accidents caused by crowding and other risks.

Additionally, the meeting will thoroughly review all safety management measures to maintain order at the event venue, including route identification, inspection of traffic management plans, and allocation of roles in case of emergencies.

Following the meeting, on May 2, Ulsan city officials, Nam-gu district representatives, and safety experts plan to conduct an on-site inspection of the entire event venue.

The 103rd Ulsan Children's Day Grand Festival, under the theme "Ulsan, City of Dreams: Dreaming Green Garden Playground," will feature a variety of hands-on experience booths. These include mini gardens, a "Little Gardener and Dinosaur Garden" photo zone, mini flowerpot making, and craft experiences using recycled plastic waste, all designed to help children in Ulsan, the garden city, foster a love for nature and the environment.
