On April 23, the Gumi Office of Education announced that it held the "School Meal Hygiene and Operation Management Council" at the seminar room of the Park Chung Hee Presidential History Museum. The event was attended by approximately 110 nutrition teachers and nutritionists from schools and the education office within the district.

This council, now in its second year following last year's event, was organized to identify operational issues and develop improvement measures through discussions among those responsible for school meals.

The participants will be divided into 10 regional teams, set team-specific topics, and conduct a total of four rounds of discussions. Through this process, the Gumi Office of Education aims to prevent operational problems in school meal services and provide safer and more satisfactory meals to students.

Nam Sungwan, Superintendent of the Gumi Office of Education, stated, "Communication and cooperation on the ground are essential for safe and healthy school meals," and added, "We will actively incorporate the various opinions presented in the field to continuously improve the quality of school meals."
