On April 24, the museum announced that it held the '2025 Science Love Voucher' presentation ceremony with the Gwangju Support Group for Local Children's Centers, during which it received 2,000 vouchers. Each voucher includes a Triple Pass admission ticket and a special theater pass. This initiative was designed to help local children easily and enjoyably experience a variety of science-related cultural activities.
Children who receive the Science Love Voucher can freely visit the main building of the National Gwangju Science Museum, the Children's Science Hall, and the Artificial Intelligence Hall until the end of the year. They can also experience special theaters, including the 4D Theater and the Planetarium.
Kim Seungmin, a researcher at the Exhibition Operations Center, said, "This is a meaningful collaboration that provides high-quality science experiences for local children," and added, "We will continue to work on spreading science culture and bridging the cultural gap between different social groups."
