May "Invention Month": Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Host Invention Experience Event from May 9

Applications Open for '2025 Imagination Challenge: Making Together' Event

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on April 24 that it will hold the "2025 Imagination Challenge: Making Together" event in May, which is designated as "Invention Month." The event will allow participants to create and experience inventions firsthand.

This event, which will take place from May 9 to May 30, is open to all students, guardians, and staff of elementary, middle, and high schools located in Seoul.

Among the hands-on programs are the "Making Festival" (held at the Eastern Branch of the Convergence Science Education Center) and the "Smart Drone Experience" (held at Seoul Gyenam Elementary School), both scheduled for May 23.

There are also events where families can create inventions together. These include "Infinite Transformations of LEGO Spike Prime" (at the main branch of the Convergence Science Education Center) on May 10, and "Making a Multifunctional Clock" (at Inheon Middle School) on May 21.
