Chungnam Province has begun laying the groundwork to symbolize the exterior, vision, and characteristics of the Chungnam Museum of Art, which is currently under construction with the goal of opening in July 2027, and to establish a unique brand identity.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, the province held a kick-off meeting for the "Chungnam Museum of Art Brand Development Project" in the small conference room of the provincial government’s cultural and arts center, with advisory committee members, relevant officials, and representatives from the project contractor in attendance. During the meeting, participants discussed the direction and implementation strategies that the Chungnam Museum of Art should pursue.

This kick-off meeting marks the first step for the Chungnam Museum of Art, scheduled to open in July 2027, to establish itself as a "cultural and artistic platform that embraces Chungnam and reaches out to the world." The goal is to build a comprehensive brand strategy encompassing the museum’s identity and philosophy, visual imagery, and core messages.

The Chungnam Museum of Art brand development project, which will run until October, will actively incorporate the opinions of Chungnam residents through expert consultations and a public preference survey.

The main components of the project include: ▲ establishing the identity of the Chungnam Museum of Art, deriving design concepts, and formulating strategies; ▲ developing basic and applied designs, as well as indoor and outdoor signage; ▲ producing videos that capture the museum’s identity using motion graphics.

After establishing the brand strategy, the province plans to actively promote the Chungnam Museum of Art by applying it across all areas, including exhibitions, spaces, merchandise (goods), and online content.

Kim Beomsoo, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism for Chungnam Province, stated, "The Chungnam Museum of Art will be more than just an exhibition space; it will be an open cultural venue where the lives and art of residents are connected." He added, "Through brand development, we will establish the museum’s identity and do our utmost to effectively promote the Chungnam Museum of Art both domestically and internationally."
