Panstar Group Showcases the Future of Smart Cleaning with Human-Robot Collaboration

PSBX Dongsan and PSBX Robotics
to Showcase Next-Generation SmartBX
at the 2025 Apartment Management Industry Expo

PSBX Dongsan and PSBX Robotics, affiliates of the Panstar Group, will participate in the "2025 Apartment Management Industry Expo" to be held at BEXCO from April 24 to 26, where they will introduce their next-generation smart cleaning and facility management system, "SmartBX."

PSBX Dongsan is a specialized company that provides integrated management solutions in the FM (facility management) and HM (housing management) sectors. At this expo, the company will unveil a new cleaning model that moves away from traditional labor-centric methods and instead features collaboration between robots and humans.

PSBX Robotics, which distributes and operates commercial autonomous cleaning robots in Korea in partnership with global companies such as SoftBank Robotics and Keenon Robotics, will exhibit and demonstrate a variety of cleaning robots at the expo. These include SoftBank Robotics' "Whiz," Keenon Robotics' "C20" and "C30," Avidbots' "Neo2.0" supplied domestically by Sungjoo Comtec, and Spakoz's "SPARKY" and "SPARKY JUNIOR."

"SmartBX," proposed by PSBX, is a cleaning and facility management operation model that integrates robots, sensors, QR codes, IoT, and AI-based data systems.

In this model, repetitive floor cleaning is handled by robots, while precise areas such as stairs and handrails are managed by cleaning staff, thereby improving cleaning efficiency. Data collected in real time via sensors and QR codes is delivered to an administrator panel, allowing for an at-a-glance overview of cleanliness status, work history, and complaint status.

In particular, SmartBX is characterized by its shift to an "output-centered" cleaning quality evaluation based on scientific metrics such as cleanliness tests (ATP tests) that measure bacterial levels. This approach is expected to improve resident satisfaction, reduce labor intensity, and lower operating costs.

Through this expo, PSBX plans to expand the application of SmartBX beyond its current use in hospitals, golf courses, and buildings, to a variety of facilities such as apartment complexes, schools, large supermarkets, and senior towns. The company is also recruiting distribution and dealership partners among businesses interested in adopting the system.

At the onsite booth, there will be live robot demonstrations, operating system simulations, and ATP test experiences. Free PoC (Proof of Concept) will also be offered to customers who request consultations.
