The Supreme Court announced on April 23, 2025, that it will hold the second en banc deliberation session on April 24 regarding the violation of the Public Official Election Act by former Democratic Party leader Lee Jaemyung.

The Supreme Court, under the authority of Chief Justice Cho Hui-dae, referred Lee's case to the en banc panel and scheduled a continuation session for review just two days after the first deliberation session was held.
The previous day, the Supreme Court had initially assigned Lee's case to the Second Division, a four-justice panel consisting of Justices Oh Kyungmi, Kwon Youngjun, Um Sangpil, and Park Youngjae. However, within about two hours, Chief Justice Cho referred the case to the en banc panel.
