First Cohort to Run from May to August
The first session of the K-Export Warriors Academy will run from May to August, and the second session is scheduled from August to November. GLP Global Group, a university enterprise at Busan University of Foreign Studies, will participate as the operating organization. The program is open to international students who have graduated or are expected to graduate with at least an associate degree and hold either a D-2 (student) or D-10 (job-seeking) visa. A total of 300 students will be selected.
This academy features a 200-hour curriculum, offering practical training in areas such as trade operations theory, export and marketing practice, and career coaching. In particular, it is designed to help international students who wish to work in overseas sales and export-import roles obtain the E-7 (special activities) visa.
KOSME aims to provide practical career development opportunities to international students, including those majoring in the humanities who may be in employment blind spots, through the K-Export Warriors Academy. Graduates of the program will be connected with small and medium-sized enterprises for employment via the "K-Work Platform," a job-matching platform dedicated to international students, in an effort to encourage talented foreign professionals to settle in Korea.
The entire curriculum will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining online and offline classes, allowing students to participate from anywhere in the country. The government will fully cover all tuition fees. International students wishing to participate should submit a Korean-language resume (in any format) by email by May 2. For applications and other inquiries about the program, students can contact the GLP Global Group Seoul Center or Busan Center by phone.
