The 'KMAGF 2025 Kingkong Dental Green Tour Round 1', hosted and organized by the Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Federation (KMAGF) and officially sponsored by Kingkong Dental, was successfully held on the 22nd at Hwasun Country Club in Hwasun, Jeonnam.
This tournament was divided into the men's and senior divisions. In the men's division, Choi Junghwan took first place with an even par score of 72 (36,36). He was followed by Choi Kyungsik (Jeonnam), who finished second with a one-over-par 73 (35,38), and Lee Gwangjin, who came in third with a two-over-par 74 (38,36).
In the senior division, Lee Dongseok took first place with a three-over-par 75 (38,37), while Heo Sung finished second with a four-over-par 76 (38,38).
Choi Junghwan, who claimed first place in the men's division, said, "I'm very pleased to start the season's first tournament with a good result," adding, "I want to maintain my good condition and continue to perform consistently throughout the season."
The Green Tour is a tournament operated by the Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Federation (KMAGF) to popularize golf by expanding its base and promoting its growth. This year's Green Tour consists of a total of 10 rounds, and throughout the season, skilled mid-amateur players from across the country will compete fiercely to secure a seed for the final tournament.
