Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) has signed an agreement with the Gyeonggi Business and Science Accelerator (GBSA) for the development of the Gwanggyo Techno Valley bio site.
On the 22nd, GH announced that it had entered into a business agreement with GBSA for mutual cooperation to activate the innovation hub and specialize the bioindustry at the Suwon Gwanggyo Techno Valley bio site.
This agreement was established to maximize synergy in the development of the Gwanggyo TV bio site through close cooperation between GH, a professional development agency, and GBSA, which has strengths in supporting research and development and core infrastructure for bioindustry-related companies.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have agreed to actively cooperate in identifying and attracting company demand, fostering and supporting bio companies, and forming and operating an industry-academia-research consultative body.

The Gwanggyo TV bio site was originally planned to be developed as a long-term bio research center, but due to prolonged delays in the development project, it has remained idle land until now. In response, Gyeonggi Province plans to contribute the site in kind to GH and develop it as a bio innovation hub.
Lee Jongseon, Acting President of GH, stated, "Our goal is to establish the Gwanggyo TV bio site as an innovation hub leading the bioindustry and to create the optimal environment for discovering and nurturing outstanding talent."
