On April 20, Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Lee Sangwook) delivered approximately 440 sets of snack boxes to eight welfare facilities for people with disabilities, including Busan Seongwoo School (Principal Kang Byungil) and Somang Children's Home (Director Jung Euncheol), both located in Gijang-gun, Busan, to commemorate the 45th Disability Day.

'Disability Day' is a legally designated commemorative day established to promote understanding of people with disabilities and to improve welfare for people with disabilities.
Each year, Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters holds invitational events and provides commemorative gifts to welfare facilities to mark Disability Day. In addition, the headquarters supports various activities, such as sponsoring commemorative gifts for Disability Day events organized by the Gijang-gun Association for the Disabled.
Nam Younggyu, Director of External Cooperation at Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "We hope that providing sponsorship items will help enhance the welfare and rehabilitation motivation of people with disabilities." He added, "Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters will continue to offer encouragement and support so that people with disabilities are respected as members of society, and we will spare no effort in providing a variety of support to help create a warm and inclusive local community."
