Visits to Imsil Cheese Theme Park and Crucian Carp Island Ecological Park
Imsil County in North Jeolla Province launched its first Imsil tour for university students on April 18, with 30 Chinese international students from Woosuk University participating. The tour was organized by accepting applications from universities in the province on a first-come, first-served basis and finalizing the schedule through coordination.

According to the county on April 21, the Imsil tour began with guidance from a cultural tourism interpreter and was designed to allow participants to fully experience the flavors and charm of Imsil by combining the Imsil N Cheese experience with a tour of the Imsil Cheese Theme Park.
Set against the backdrop of the Okjeong Lake Crucian Carp Island Ecological Park, where spring flowers were in full bloom, all participating students created joyful memories by taking special photos. At the Imsil Cheese Theme Park, the students directly experienced the taste of Imsil cheese through the Imsil N Cheese program and by sampling cheese pork cutlets. They then moved to Okjeong Lake, where they enjoyed the atmosphere of spring by taking photos at the suspension bridge, where the scent of flowers had just begun to fill the air, and at the Crucian Carp Island Ecological Park photo zone.
In celebration of the 2025 Year of Visiting Imsil, the special Imsil tour for university students in North Jeolla Province will be held a total of eight times this year, with four sessions each in the first and second half of the year. University students whose schedules are confirmed through coordination will visit Imsil’s representative tourist attractions in turn.
To attract more visitors during the 2025 Year of Visiting Imsil, the county is preparing a variety of benefits and programs. In particular, it plans to offer a range of special tour programs and exclusive benefits, including accommodation discounts, influencer invitation fam tours, Imsil tours for university students in the province, and travel agency incentives for attracting group tourists, to provide visitors with a more unique travel experience.
County Governor Shim Min stated, "We expect that active sharing of photos on social media among university students will further enhance the county's online promotional efforts," adding, "We will continue to promote the charms of Imsil and strive to attract more tourists in the future."
