On April 21, Korea Zinc announced that it had held the '3rd Win-Win Growth Safety and Health Seminar with Partners' at the Munsu Convention Center in Nam-gu, Ulsan. The seminar, which took place on April 17, brought together representatives of Korea Zinc and its partner companies under the slogan "Safety and Health as the Top Priority for All," reaffirming their commitment to spreading a safety culture.

Kim Seunghyun, head of the Onsan Smelter, stated in his opening address, "Safety is not merely a matter of management, but the starting point and core value of all business operations." He emphasized, "The prevention of serious accidents begins not with an attitude of 'someone else will do it,' but with 'I will take the initiative myself.'" Kim further stressed that "all members of Korea Zinc and its partner companies must take responsibility in their respective roles, recognize and eliminate risks, and realize a 'prevention-centered safety culture.'"

The seminar covered topics including a review of current safety and health conditions, analysis of major causes of safety accidents, sharing of roles and responsibilities by each party, and the search for field-oriented preventive measures. In addition, representatives of partner companies, supervisors, and Korea Zinc employees discussed in detail the specific roles each must play in preventing serious accidents, focusing on practical solutions during the discussions.

A representative of the partner company council remarked, "I could sense Korea Zinc's genuine respect for its partners as true 'companions,' and its determination to create safety together under shared responsibility." He added, "We will continue to actively cooperate to create a safe and healthy workplace together."

Sung Namjun, head of the Safety and Environment Division at Korea Zinc, stated, "Real change begins only when the diverse opinions and discussions shared today are put into practice at each site." He added, "Korea Zinc will continue to communicate and make every effort together with its partners to realize a 'people-centered safety culture.'"
