Employees from Woori Bank's social contribution community, the 'WOORI Family Volunteer Group,' spent a special day working alongside colleagues with developmental disabilities at the Goodwill Store Milal Geumcheon branch.
On April 21, Woori Bank announced that the 'WOORI Family Volunteer Group' had carried out its second volunteer activity at the Goodwill Store.
The Goodwill Store, under the slogan "Not Charity, But Opportunity," is a workplace employing people with developmental disabilities, selling goods donated by individuals and companies. The Milal Geumcheon branch is the first store established as part of Woori Financial Group and Woori Financial Future Foundation's project to build the 100th Goodwill Store.
On this day, the 'WOORI Family Volunteer Group' worked together with colleagues with developmental disabilities on tasks such as cleaning the store, arranging goods, and sorting used items for sale. In particular, to commemorate the launch of the new 'Goodwill Donation Box,' which Woori Financial Group is installing in ATM corners to promote a culture of giving in the community, they also held an event offering gifts to participants.
Meanwhile, the 'WOORI Family Volunteer Group' also donated various items, including clothing and household goods, to the Goodwill Store Milal Geumcheon branch, joining efforts to create jobs for people with disabilities and promote resource circulation.
