DB Insurance Expands One-Day Auto Insurance Coverage... Introduces Up to 200 Million KRW Criminal Settlement Benefit

DB Insurance announced on April 21 that it has revised its 'Promycar One-Day Auto Insurance,' which provides immediate coverage upon enrollment for those driving another person's vehicle.

The main changes include the introduction of new special clauses to expand coverage, the extension of eligibility to include van-type vehicles, and an increase in the maximum policy period from 7 days to 10 days.

Specifically, the revisions introduce legal expense support coverage, which provides up to 200 million KRW in criminal settlement funds, as well as a new automobile injury rider. These changes offer a level of coverage similar to that of standard auto insurance policies.

To meet the insurance needs of group travelers making long-distance trips, the eligible vehicle types have been expanded to include vans.
