At the Supreme Council meeting of the Democratic Party held at the National Assembly in Yeouido on April 21, Park referred to the People Power Party's presidential primary debate, saying, "They are blaming the Democratic Party for the cause of the rebellion, and the candidates are speaking like far-right YouTubers," adding, "The very act of fielding such low-level candidates is an insult to the people."

Park further criticized, "The People Power Party's presidential primary debate was truly deplorable," and pointed out, "There was no reflection on the rebellion, no vision for the future, and no apology for the reasons behind the early presidential election."

He continued, "As the former ruling party that produced the ringleader of the rebellion, Yoon Sukyeol, it is the bare minimum duty and decency to take responsibility and apologize for causing national chaos and crisis, but there was neither reflection nor apology," adding, "On the contrary, one candidate even questioned why Yoon Sukyeol keeps being brought up."

He went on to say, "Avoiding any mention of Yoon Sukyeol, the People Power Party's number one member, does not absolve the party of responsibility for the 12·3 rebellion," and emphasized, "What was even more concerning was the complete lack of even basic respect for opponents."

He pointed out, "They tore up the Democratic Party candidate's pledges and only continued to criticize the Democratic Party candidate instead of presenting their own vision," adding, "This is the true face of the People Power Party and the level of its candidates."

Meanwhile, Park also addressed Han Ducksoo, Acting President and Prime Minister, who is constantly rumored to be running for president, saying, "If you have any sense of decency, you should first declare that you will not run for president," and stressed, "What Han should do is focus on maintaining governmental stability and ensuring a fair presidential election."
