CIO to Recruit Two Investigators Amid Staff Shortage Yonhap News

The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) is recruiting two investigators. The positions are at level 6, with a term of six years. Reappointment is possible, and the mandatory retirement age is 60.


Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements: ① hold a lawyer's license, ② be a public official who has performed investigative or inspection duties, or ③ have experience in investigative work as specified by CIO regulations.


Investigators will perform the duties of judicial police officers, such as investigating suspects, criminal facts, and evidence related to CIO investigations.


The recruitment process consists of application submission, document screening, and interviews. The announcement period is from April 21 to May 9. Applications can be submitted from April 28 to May 9.


The CIO plans to fill its total quota of 40 investigators through this recruitment.
