"A person has collapsed. Please report to 119"... AI CCTV speaks

S1 Unveils 'AI Agent' for Intelligent CCTV
Not Only Provides Rapid Emergency Alerts, But Also Guides Users on Response Methods

S1's AI agent for intelligent CCTV is drawing attention as a new alternative to traditional monitoring methods. By enabling users to control various functions such as video retrieval and capture through conversations with the AI agent, it addresses operational and management issues that have been pointed out as limitations of conventional CCTV systems. The AI agent not only promptly notifies users of emergencies or critical situations when incidents occur, but also guides them to the most appropriate response methods.

On April 21, S1 announced that its AI agent provides several features, including: guidance on standard operating procedures (SOP) during emergencies, conversational video search services, and conversational CCTV control services. First, the AI agent represents a step beyond existing intelligent CCTV by autonomously detecting dangerous situations, explaining them to the user, and suggesting response measures. For example, if an accident occurs in a warehouse, a notification such as "A man has collapsed in the warehouse" is automatically displayed on the screen. The AI then provides specific action instructions?such as "Contact 119"?on the screen, following the standard operating procedures for each situation.

The AI agent also offers a conversational CCTV video search service to address the issue of lengthy analysis times. The key feature of this service is that users can request desired footage by voice, and the AI will automatically find and present the relevant video along with an explanation. For instance, if a user gives a voice command such as "Find the person who smoked between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.," the AI analyzes keywords like time and behavior to quickly provide the relevant footage.

A conversational control service is also available, allowing users to operate key CCTV functions using only voice commands. With intuitive instructions such as "Capture and save the entrance camera screen, and show me the footage from five minutes ago at the basement entrance camera," users can execute functions like video playback, navigation, and storage.

An S1 representative stated, "As various incidents, accidents, and disasters continue to increase, the widespread adoption of CCTV throughout society to prevent these events makes it crucial to utilize such safety infrastructure effectively. Through our in-house R&D center, S1 will continue to develop effective security solutions and take the lead in distributing them across society, fulfilling our responsibilities and duties as a security company."
