Sequential Release of 25 Specifications by the Second Half of the Year
Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) will launch its ultra-high-performance extreme super sports tire, the Ventus Evo Z, on April 21.
According to Hankook Tire on April 18, the Ventus Evo Z is an extreme super sports model from the flagship Ventus tire brand. Targeting global supercars such as Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche, the product is built on innovative technologies developed through sponsorship of major motorsports competitions.
The tire features an asymmetric tread pattern designed for supercar driving, and delivers consistent performance across various combinations by optimizing the profile structure and pattern for both front and rear tire specifications. In addition, a blend of liquid resin and high-softening-point solid resin maximizes grip regardless of road surface temperature. An advanced aramid hybrid reinforcement belt has also been applied.
In in-house driving tests using the high-performance BMW M4 coupe, the tire recorded a lap time 0.6 seconds faster than top-tier competitor products on dry surfaces. On wet surfaces, it achieved the shortest lap time by completing three fewer laps than competitors.
All specifications of the Ventus Evo Z have received domestic energy efficiency ratings. Hankook Tire plans to sequentially release a total of 25 specifications by the second half of this year.
