10 Local Procurement Companies and 10 Public Institution Purchasing Managers Participate
Busan Regional Public Procurement Service (Director Shin Bongjae) held the 'Public Procurement Partnership Day' on the 17th at the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service, introducing products manufactured by local procurement companies to local public institutions.
The event was attended by 10 local procurement companies specializing in water-related products such as pumps, water quality analyzers, and sodium hypochlorite generators, as well as 10 purchasing managers from local public institutions that frequently use these products, including the Busan City Construction Headquarters and the Busan City Waterworks Headquarters.
The participating procurement companies promoted the features of their products and actual delivery cases to public institution purchasing managers, and also had one-on-one purchase consultation sessions.
Director Shin Bongjae stated, "I hope today's event will serve as an opportunity for excellent products manufactured in the region to be supplied to local public institutions in greater numbers. We will continue to hold Partnership Day events in the future," adding, "Public procurement not only supports the growth of local companies but also helps vitalize the local economy, so I look forward to the active participation of local public institutions."
Last year, the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service held the Public Procurement Partnership Day three times, resulting in purchases totaling approximately KRW 570 million.
