The Baekje Royal Palace Museum in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do will hold a special exhibition titled "Baekje Royal Palace, Embracing Iksan" from the 18th of this month to the 18th of next month.

This exhibition has been organized in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the Iksan Baekje National Heritage Night Walk and was planned in collaboration with the Iksan branch of the Korean Fine Arts Association.

Ten local artists will participate in the exhibition, presenting over 20 works including paintings, ceramics, crafts, and sculptures, all centered around the theme of "Iksan." The pieces reinterpret the history and cultural heritage of the ancient city of Iksan, as well as familiar alleyways and everyday emotions, through the perspectives of the artists.

In particular, this exhibition, where the historicity of the Baekje Historic Areas such as Mireuksaji and Wanggungni Historic Site coexists with everyday scenery, is expected to offer visitors a new perspective and inspiration regarding Iksan.

The exhibition will be held in the special exhibition hall on the first floor of the Baekje Royal Palace Museum until the 18th of next month. During the Iksan Baekje National Heritage Night Walk, from the 18th to the 20th, the exhibition will be open until 11 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy both the night walk experience and the exhibition at the same time.

A museum official stated, "This exhibition will be a special time where Iksan's nightscape, heritage, and art come together," adding, "We hope visitors will discover the charm of beautiful Iksan through the works created by local artists."
