The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 17th that it signed a 'Business Agreement to Support Overseas Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives' with the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation at the Gas South Convention Center in Atlanta, USA, where the 23rd World Korean Business Convention is being held.


The agreement ceremony held on the 16th was attended by Kim Ki-moon, President of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, Kang Ho-dong, President of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, and officials from both organizations. This business agreement was prepared to establish a cooperative system in various fields such as expanding domestic and international distribution networks, export support, and technological cooperation, aiming to strengthen the global competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and cooperatives.

The main contents include ▲ expanding domestic and international sales channels by utilizing distribution channels such as the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, Home & Shopping, and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation's Hanaro Mart ▲ supporting overseas market development through joint participation in overseas exhibitions ▲ strengthening technological cooperation in smart agriculture and food processing fields.


Kim Ki-moon, President of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, "K-Food exports have grown at an average annual rate of 8% over the past 10 years, continuously setting new records every year. Especially in the United States, there has been a shortage craze for frozen gimbap and Buldak Bokkeum Myun, showing very high popularity in the global market. Through this agreement, by combining high-quality agricultural products and the manufacturing capabilities of small and medium enterprises and expanding the global distribution network, we expect the export territory of Korean food to expand even further."
