Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) Urban Regeneration Professional Training Project Group announced on the 16th that it held the "2025 Urban Regeneration Professional Training Project Workshop and Field Trip" to enhance practical field capabilities and strengthen competitiveness in urban regeneration.
The event, held over two days from the 11th to the 12th in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, was attended by over 40 master's and doctoral students from the Graduate School of Urban Regeneration and Real Estate, as well as six faculty members (Professors Kim Hangjip, Choi Dongho, Kim Daeil, and Special Professors Kang Dongwook, Yoon Youngdam, and Jo Seongwoo). The program included a field trip and seminar on the future direction of urban regeneration and the activation of cities in connection with real estate and urban development in small and medium-sized local cities.
Designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as a hub university for urban regeneration in the Honam and Jeju regions, Gwangju University continues to operate integrated, region-specific education by combining professional theoretical education with practical field-based learning through its Urban Regeneration Professional Training Project.
