The Stepping Stone of Hope is a customized support project for exam fees, education expenses, and more to help youth preparing for independence find employment. It supports qualification exams necessary for employment, including driver's licenses, certifications such as bakery and forklift operator, as well as foreign language and Korean history tests.
Youth preparing for independence refers to those who have turned 18 and whose protection under child welfare facilities or foster care has ended, requiring them to prepare to stand on their own in society.
Through this project, 82 youth preparing for independence have passed certifications and qualification exams. They have found employment in various fields such as Korea Railroad Corporation and landscaping companies.
Jungil Bin, CEO of KB Capital, said, "KB Capital will continue to strive to carry out meaningful projects for youth preparing for independence, who are the hope of our country's future."
