The Jaepo Yeongyang County Association visited Yeongyang County on the 16th and donated 5 million KRW to support residents affected by the wildfire and to aid in recovery efforts.

The donation ceremony was attended by President Lee Kisuk, General Secretary Kim Heesuk, and Scholarship Foundation President Kim Jongil. The donated funds were collected through the shared efforts of the association members to provide some assistance to neighbors affected by the wildfire.
Comprising about 400 members, the Jaepo Yeongyang County Association holds regular gatherings to foster friendship and unity among members, strives for the development of their hometown, and consistently shows interest and affection by visiting whenever there are major or minor events in their hometown.
Lee Kisuk, President of the Jaepo Yeongyang County Association, stated, "We decided to make this donation in hopes of providing even a small amount of help to those suffering from the wildfire damage, and we wish for the swift recovery of the affected residents."
County Governor Oh Dochang expressed, "We are grateful to the Jaepo Yeongyang County Association for their donation. We will do our best to help residents who have lost their homes due to the wildfire overcome their difficulties and return to their daily lives."
