Kim Jaeseop: "For the People Power Party to Win the Presidential Election, They Must Break Ties with Yoon"

Kim: "While Candidates Cultivate the Field... Yoon Plows It Over with a Tractor"

On the 16th, Kim Jaeseop, a member of the People Power Party, repeatedly urged that the party must break ties with former President Yoon Seok-yeol to win the presidential election.

On the same day, Kim wrote on Facebook, "Holding a fireball and saying 'It's hot, it's hot.' The way to escape the heat is very simple," adding, "You just have to put the fireball down." The fireball is interpreted as a metaphor for the impeached former President Yoon.

He continued, "The early presidential election was triggered by impeachment, and all our party candidates say, 'We must win, we must win.' The way to win is simple," emphasizing, "We just have to break ties with the impeached former president."

Kim also directly criticized former President Yoon for damaging the party's election atmosphere. He pointed out, "Former President Yoon is spouting irrational remarks such as 'I came back after winning' or 'Whether it's five years or three years.'"

He particularly stressed, "While our party candidates are cultivating the field with hoes, former President Yoon is plowing over that field with a tractor," adding, "There is no way for our party to win the election without breaking ties with the president."

Recently, Kim has been pouring criticism on the faction within the party that highlights former President Yoon and Yoonism through various occasions.

On the 6th, Kim posted on social media, "There are people in our party who, after martial law was declared, danced the sword dance amidst the madness of election fraud and 'Gye-mongryeong' (martial law order), driving the party into crisis. Even after the impeachment ruling, there are irresponsible senior lawmakers who engage in self-politics by riding on the back of the impeached president," strongly criticizing, "These people are precisely the targets for disciplinary action and the pus that must be removed."
