Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is inviting private sector participants to bid for the A3 block in Hanam Gyosan District, the first public housing project with private participation in the 3rd New Town development.
This project will be promoted as a specialized residential model combining 1,100 rental housing units, including 100 welfare housing units for the elderly, and social welfare facilities.
The welfare housing for the elderly is an integrated public rental housing complex that includes housing as well as social welfare facilities such as physical therapy rooms and healthcare facilities. It features barrier-free designs such as height-adjustable washbasins to accommodate seniors aged 65 and older.
GH plans to select a private professional operator with proven operational performance to activate the management of community facilities. Through this, communication among residents and community revitalization will be maximized, creating a differentiated community culture and establishing a pleasant living environment.
GH will accept letters of intent to participate in the bid on the 17th of this month and will receive project applications on May 16. Detailed information regarding the private sector bidding can be found on the GH website (www.gh.or.kr).
