Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Signs Four-Party Business Agreement
to Promote Autonomous Manufacturing in Industrial Complexes

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 16th that it has signed a four-party business agreement with the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, the Korea Robot Industry Association, and the Korea Industrial Complex Managers' Association to establish a support system for the expansion of autonomous manufacturing in industrial complexes.


According to the agreement, each organization plans to promote the introduction of robots in the manufacturing sites of companies located in industrial complexes, strengthen the manufacturing competitiveness of robot-demanding companies through digital and artificial intelligence technologies, and create new business opportunities for robot-supplying companies.

The main contents of the agreement include ▲establishing a joint support system for the expansion of autonomous manufacturing among companies in industrial complexes ▲expanding policy support for robot introduction ▲holding connection consultation meetings between demand and supply companies, and other field-centered support expansions.


Lee Sang-hoon, President of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "Through this business agreement, support for robot introduction by companies in industrial complexes will be carried out more systematically," adding, "Based on policy support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, we will actively support the industrial complexes to establish themselves as the center of digital transformation through the introduction of manufacturing robots, by cooperating with the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, the Korea Robot Industry Association, and the Korea Industrial Complex Managers' Association in follow-up projects."
