During the three-day symposium, a variety of programs will be held, including sharing international CEPA case studies, presentations on strategies for each Korean heritage area, examples of overseas visitor center operations, comprehensive expert discussions, and a field trip to the Gochang Tidal Flat.

On the first day, the CEPA strategies and current program implementation status of international organizations such as IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), EAAFP (East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership), and RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) will be shared.

On the second day, the five local governments of 'Korean Tidal Flats', including Gochang Tidal Flat, will present their implementation plans, and examples of visitor center operations from countries such as China, Germany, and the United Kingdom will be introduced. On the final day, the 19th, a field trip to the Gochang Tidal Flat will be held to share its ecological value.

This symposium is significant in that it will concretize the conservation and management model of Korea's tidal flat World Heritage based on the CEPA (Capacity Building, Communication, Education, Participation, Awareness) strategy and establish a foundation for strengthening the role of regional visitor centers.
