Kumho Tire (CEO Jung Iltaek) announced on the 14th that it recently held the "2025 Equipment Procurement Partners Meeting" at the main building of its Gwangju Plant located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, under the theme of ESG management and mutual cooperation.

Approximately 140 people attended the event, including Park Euntae, Executive Director in charge of procurement at Kumho Tire, as well as the representatives and executives of 100 key equipment procurement partner companies.
During the meeting, Kumho Tire introduced its open bidding process (K-POS system) and key procurement policy initiatives to its partners, and shared information on ESG management, global regulatory trends, and supply chain ESG management strategies.
In addition, the 2024 Outstanding Procurement Partners were selected as Sonid Co., Ltd., Hanil General Machinery Co., Ltd., and Deogam Mecca Co., Ltd., while Dynamic Design Co., Ltd. and Sonid Co., Ltd. were named as Outstanding ESG Partners. A total of four companies received plaques and bouquets.
Kumho Tire listens to the difficulties faced by its partners and implements improvement ideas in procurement operations based on this feedback. The company also plans to strengthen cooperative relationships in line with its ESG management policy direction through mutual growth with its partners.
Park Euntae, Executive Director in charge of procurement at Kumho Tire, said, "Kumho Tire manages its supply chain with a focus on sustainability in environmental, social, and economic aspects," adding, "We are striving to systematically establish a win-win relationship with our partners and implement responsible supply chain management."
He added, "Through regular partner evaluations and verifications, we will communicate the importance of sustainable management and continue to expand support programs so that our partners can put these principles into practice, achieving mutual growth together."
