BYD Begins Customer Delivery of First Passenger Model 'Ato3'

Purchase Price in the High 20 Million KRW Range with Local Government Subsidies Applied

BYD Korea announced that it will begin customer deliveries of its first domestic passenger model, the BYD 'Atto 3', starting from the 14th.


The Atto 3 features the Blade Battery and the dedicated electric vehicle platform (e-Platform 3.0), offering excellent safety, space utilization, and stable driving performance.

It also comes standard with various convenience features such as a 3D surround view monitor, panoramic sunroof, V2L, a 12.8-inch rotating display, and intelligent cruise control.


Although it attracted significant attention by achieving 1,000 pre-orders within a week of its launch on January 16, customer deliveries were delayed as procedures including the Ministry of Environment’s subsidy evaluation were completed this month.


The recommended retail prices for the Atto 3 are ▲ BYD Atto 3 at 31.5 million KRW ▲ BYD Atto 3 Plus at 33.3 million KRW. With electric vehicle subsidies applied, some local governments offer purchase prices in the high 20 million KRW range.


BYD Korea has also prepared after-sales service in line with customer deliveries. Official BYD passenger car service centers have been opened in 12 major cities nationwide, and the number of service centers will be increased to more than 25 by the end of the year to provide an optimal service environment where customers can use their vehicles with confidence after purchase.
