First Introduced in April 2022
Ottogi's Jjashulraemyeon 'Jjashulraeng' announced on the 14th that it surpassed 100 million units sold as of April this year.
First introduced to the market in April 2022, Jjashulraeng is characterized by its deep and rich jjajang flavor. It has recorded high sales by maximizing the taste of jjajang with chewy noodles and the addition of onion oil and green onion oil seasoning soup. The fact that it can be easily prepared without discarding the water also gained consumer approval.
The Jjashulraeng cup ramen, newly released last September, also attracted attention by offering two preparation options through a convenient sticker: one with water discarded and one without.
An Ottogi official said, "Thanks to the high interest and love from consumers, we were able to achieve 100 million units sold of Jjashulraeng," adding, "We will continue to do our best to meet consumer needs and provide tastier and more valuable meals."
