Faster and Cheaper Than Regular Delivery... CU Introduces Industry-First 'Next-Day Guaranteed Delivery'

Receive by the Next Day When Sent Before 6 PM, Sunday to Friday
Shipping Fees Up to 37% Lower Than Standard Parcels

CU, a convenience store operated by BGF Retail, announced on the 14th that it has introduced the industry's first 'CU Next-Day Guaranteed Parcel' service, which allows parcels to be received within the same region in just one day.

CU currently operates 'CU Affordable Parcel' using its own logistics network, 'General Parcel' delivered by existing courier companies, 'Pickup Parcel' service that collects parcels from customers' doorsteps, and international express services using DHL.

The newly introduced CU Next-Day Guaranteed Parcel service delivers parcels directly to the desired location the day after acceptance. It emphasizes ultra-fast delivery within 24 hours from dispatch to receipt.

Items accepted before 6 PM every day except Saturdays are delivered to the location designated by the customer the next day. Considering that general convenience store parcels usually take about 2 to 3 days, this is a fast speed. Delivery is handled by DeliBox Central.

The CU Next-Day Guaranteed Parcel service also offers lower shipping fees than general parcels. The service fees are 3,200 KRW for parcels under 500g, 3,900 KRW for 500g to under 1kg, 4,700 KRW for 1 to under 3kg, and 5,400 KRW for 3 to under 5kg. This is up to approximately 37% cheaper compared to general parcels of the same size. It is both faster and more affordable.

CU will also hold a uniform discount event of 300 KRW on all sizes of CU Next-Day Guaranteed Parcels until the end of next month. With the discount applied, small parcels under 500g can be sent with next-day delivery at the industry's lowest price of 2,900 KRW.

Yeon Jeong-wook, CEO of BGF Networks, said, "We will continue to expand our role as a lifestyle platform through diverse and differentiated services as the closest parcel counter in daily life."
