Gyeonggi Yeoju Urban Corporation (hereinafter 'the Corporation') announced on the 11th that its executives and employees voluntarily donated the funds they collected to the Korean Red Cross to help the victims affected by the large-scale wildfires that occurred nationwide on the 9th.

This donation was prepared to provide warm consolation and practical assistance to citizens who lost their homes and are facing difficulties due to the unexpected disaster, with executives and employees voluntarily participating and uniting their intentions in the fundraising.


President Im Myeong-jin said, "I extend my deep condolences to our neighbors who are suffering great difficulties due to the wildfire damage, and I hope that the warm hearts of our executives and employees will be of even small help." He added, "We will continue to be a local public enterprise that takes the lead not only in the local community but also in national disasters and crisis situations."


Meanwhile, Yeoju Urban Corporation is carrying out various social contribution activities such as delivering neighborly love donations, and to commemorate the 45th Disabled Persons Day, it plans to operate special transportation services free of charge for three days from the 18th to the 20th through the Transportation Vulnerable Mobility Support Center.
