On the 11th, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council delivered donations totaling approximately 26.07 million won, collected to support the recovery from the large-scale wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region and to help residents return to their daily lives, through the Gyeonggi branch of the Korean Red Cross.
The council had previously raised the funds over four days, from the 31st of last month to the 3rd of this month, through the voluntary participation of council members and all staff of the Secretariat.
On this day, the donation was handed over directly by Kim Jin-kyung (The Minjoo Party, Siheung 3) to Lee Jae-jung, Chairman of the Gyeonggi branch of the Korean Red Cross.
