The 37th Chonnam National University Alumni Association Launched... Oh Hyungseok, Chairman of Top Solar, Elected as Chairman of the Board

The Chonnam National University Alumni Association (President Ryu Hyekyung) announced on the 11th that it held the first executive board meeting of the year and the inauguration ceremony for the 37th Alumni Association.

The event, held on the 10th at the Grand Ballroom of Ramada Plaza Chungjang Hotel, was attended by National Assembly members Yang Bunam and Jeon Jinsook, Buk-gu District Mayor Moon In, former and current presidents and executives of the Alumni Association, Chonnam National University President Lee Geunbae and faculty members, as well as executives and employees of Top Solar Co., Ltd., totaling over 100 participants. At the event, Oh Hyungseok, Chairman of Top Solar Group, was elected as the new chairman of the board.

Chairman Oh graduated from the College of Humanities at Chonnam National University and established Top Solar in 2002. He currently serves as the chairman of Top Solar Group. He has been dedicated to the development of the national and local economy, receiving numerous honors such as the Representative Award in the Renewable Energy Industry, the Korea Innovation Enterprise Grand Prize, the Minister of Education Commendation, the Korea Energy Environment Technology Grand Prize, the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, and the Korea CEO Leadership Grand Prize.

Chairman Oh Hyungseok stated, "The 37th Alumni Association will strive to create a virtuous cycle of 'alumni unity' and 'nurturing future generations' by consolidating the capabilities of alumni through the power of solidarity, supporting our alma mater, and fostering our juniors."
