To Be Conducted Until June 13
Namwon City in Jeonbuk will conduct an intensive safety inspection of 104 locations, including public facilities and multi-use facilities, from the 14th to June 13th.
According to the city on the 11th, this inspection has been prepared to protect the lives and property of citizens from various disasters and safety accidents. It is a preventive activity in which the government, local authorities, private experts, and citizens participate to inspect and diagnose the overall safety status of society.
The inspection is a comprehensive safety check that covers not only visible facilities but also parts that are not easily noticeable.
During this period, the city will conduct safety inspections at a total of 104 locations. Minor issues identified during the inspections will be corrected immediately, while matters requiring detailed inspection and diagnosis will be referred to the management entity for follow-up actions and continuous monitoring to ensure thorough safety management.
In addition, during the intensive safety inspection period, the city plans to distribute voluntary safety checklists for homes and multi-use facilities to encourage citizens to participate in self-directed safety inspections.
Mayor Choi Kyungsik said, "For any issues identified that require follow-up actions during this inspection, we will continue to monitor and check the implementation status until all risk factors are resolved, so that we can make Namwon a safe city where citizens can live with peace of mind."
