Sporty and Powerful High-Performance Design
BMW Korea announced on the 11th that it will officially launch the high-performance electric coupe i4 M50 xDrive in the domestic market.
The new i4 M50 xDrive is the high-performance model of the BMW i4, the brand's first mid-size pure electric Gran Coupe. It combines dynamic driving performance, which encapsulates BMW M's motorsport expertise, with the elegant design and space utilization of a 4-door coupe.
The i4 M50 xDrive is equipped with BMW Group's latest eDrive electric motors on both the front and rear axles. It delivers a combined maximum output of 544 horsepower and a combined maximum torque of 81.1 kg·m. The time to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (zero to sixty) is 3.9 seconds.
The high-voltage battery capacity is 84 kWh, with an energy consumption of 4.1 kWh/km based on combined standards, and a driving range of 387 km on a single charge. Fast charging supports up to 205 kW, and charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 30 minutes.
The i4 M50 xDrive is differentiated by BMW M's distinctive intense and sporty design elements. The front features a horizontal bar-type BMW M kidney grille emphasizing a dynamic style, and the interior is equipped with a D-cut style M leather steering wheel with a striking red mark at the top, adding a sporty feel.
Additionally, it is equipped with Driving Assistant Professional, which includes active cruise control with 'Stop & Go' functionality, front and rear approach and collision warnings that detect pedestrians and bicycles, as well as lane departure prevention and lane keeping assistance.
Parking Assistant Standard, which provides parking assistance and reverse assistant, is included as standard, while the higher trim i4 M50 xDrive Pro features the Plus package, which adds a surround view and 3D view that allow 360-degree monitoring around the vehicle.
The i4 M50 xDrive is sold in two trims. The selling price is 84.9 million KRW for the i4 M50 xDrive and 91.6 million KRW for the i4 M50 xDrive Pro (including VAT, with a 3.5% individual consumption tax applied).
