Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 11th that it will supply the electric vehicle-specific all-season tire 'iON evo AS SUV' as original equipment tires for Hyundai Motor Company's flagship electric SUV, the 'Ioniq 9.'

The iON evo AS SUV is a product developed through long-term dedicated collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. Designed with the electric vehicle-specialized technology 'iON Innovative Technology,' it achieves an optimal balance of low noise, excellent energy efficiency and grip, low rolling resistance, and mileage performance, perfectly supporting the driving experience of high-performance electric vehicles.

The optimized pattern design reduces specific frequency noise generated during driving by up to 9dB, providing a quiet and comfortable driving environment.

Applying the latest compound?a mixture combining high-concentration silica and eco-friendly materials?it delivers outstanding grip on dry, wet, and various winter driving conditions. The 3D Grip Control sipes (fine grooves) make handling easier. Low-temperature uniform rubber curing technology and the latest compound tailored for electric vehicles significantly reduce rolling resistance, thereby lowering electricity consumption during driving.
