The Jeollanam-do Youth Future Foundation (Acting Director Kang Jongcheol) recently announced that it operated a group play counseling program as part of its social contribution activities.
This program involved counselors from the Jeollanam-do Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, who participated together and focused on improving social skills and anger management by using play to practice self-disclosure, self-expression, emotional expression, and anger control in an engaging way.
In addition, a mobile counseling center using the Mind Health Keeper Bus was operated. Quizzes on issues commonly experienced by youth were provided to offer information, along with promotional activities for the 1388 Youth Helpline and counseling services.
Center Director Lee Yoonjo said, "It was a meaningful activity that contributed to the emotional stability and growth of young people," and added, "We plan to continue implementing social contribution programs that benefit the local community in the second half of this year."
