Air Seoul was established on April 7, 2015, and officially opened its skies by introducing its first aircraft on October 5 of the same year. Starting with the Incheon~Takamatsu route, it focused on short- and medium-haul routes to Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, and other destinations, welcoming approximately 14 million passengers over the past 10 years.
Among domestic low-cost carriers (LCCs), Air Seoul offers the widest seat pitch. On aircraft equipped with in-flight video on demand (VOD), it also provides Nintendo and e-book (E-BOOK) rental services.
CEO Kim Jung-ho and employees who attended the anniversary ceremony reflected on the past through video viewing and pledged a new start. The event was followed by awards for outstanding employees and promotion ceremonies for four captains.
In his commemorative speech, CEO Kim Jung-ho said, "I ask all employees to do their best so that Air Seoul can remain competitive in its essence while becoming a beloved airline through safe operations and customer satisfaction."
