According to the Jeonbuk Fire Department on the 8th, this inspection will involve stakeholders of public institutions (owners, managers, tenants), fire safety management companies, and the local fire station. The initiative aims to enhance the autonomous safety management capabilities of the private sector and establish an effective fire prevention system.
Through this inspection, the Jeonbuk Fire Department plans to focus on checking the maintenance status of major fire safety facilities and to take measures to increase the sense of responsibility among fire safety management companies.
Additionally, the department will strengthen the on-site inspection capabilities of the fire safety investigation team and provide customized fire safety management consulting to stakeholders, establishing a self-inspection system that enables the identification and immediate resolution of risk factors in advance.
This joint inspection goes beyond a simple check, as both the public and private sectors participate together to immediately identify and improve issues on site, making it an effective inspection system.
Through this initiative, the Jeonbuk Fire Department expects to preemptively block fire risks that threaten the lives and property of residents and to significantly raise the overall level of safety management in public facilities.
At the inspection sites, the effectiveness of public-private collaboration will be strengthened by directly confirming actual operational tests and inspection details, and by jointly inspecting the maintenance status of facilities with stakeholders.
Lee Osuk, head of the Jeonbuk Fire Department, stated, “This inspection is significant in that both related agencies and the private sector participate together to establish a culture of autonomous safety management,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to protect the lives and property of residents based on prevention-centered safety management administration.”
