The academy is held at Ansan Lake Park and the Ansancheon Estuary Pier. At Ansan Lake Park, pedal boat and donut boat experiences are offered, while marine safety education is conducted at the Ansancheon Estuary Pier.

The pedal boat and donut boat experiences are available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis from Thursday to Sunday every week. There is a registration desk near the Hoban 2 Overpass at Ansan Lake Park. Marine safety education is conducted when 10 or more people register online. Both programs are free of charge.

The city plans to operate the Marine Academy in connection with the Ansan City Tour Bus, which starts running on the 10th. By boarding the weekday city course operated every Thursday, participants can enjoy the Ansan Reed Wetland, Multicultural Street, Ansan Industrial History Museum, and boat experiences at Lake Park. The Ansan City Tour Bus operates when 15 or more people gather and can also be booked individually. Boarding is available at Exit 6 of Gwanghwamun Station or Exit 2 of Jungang Station in Seoul.
