Cheongsong County Medical Center Earns Grade A in 2024 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation

Recognized for Excellence in Emergency Medical Service Capabilities and Facility Standards

Cheongsong County Public Health Medical Center in North Gyeongsang Province (Director: Yoon Hongbae) has been recognized as an excellent emergency medical service provider by receiving an A grade in the '2024 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Cheongsong County Medical Center Earns Grade A in 2024 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation Cheongsong County Health and Medical Center.

This evaluation was conducted from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, targeting 228 regional emergency medical institutions nationwide, and was carried out by the National Emergency Medical Center and the Gyeongbuk Emergency Medical Support Center.


The main evaluation criteria included ▲ emergency medical service capability ▲ facility and equipment standards ▲ patient safety and medical quality indicators ▲ emergency response system, among others.


As a result of the evaluation, Cheongsong County Public Health Medical Center received an A grade along with Pyeongchang County in Gangwon Province and Imsil County in North Jeolla Province among public health centers nationwide, thereby securing 290 million KRW from the Emergency Medical Fund. This fund will be actively used to improve emergency medical services, including upgrading medical equipment and facilities.


County Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "Receiving an A grade is the result of our efforts to provide prompt and high-quality emergency medical services to local residents," and added, "We will continue to strengthen the regional emergency medical system and do our utmost to protect the lives and health of our residents."
