On the 5th, Kia held the entrance ceremony for the first cohort of the Harmonium Education Program at the brand experience center 'Kia360' located in Apgujeong, Seoul, and officially started the program, the company announced on the 6th.
Key officials, including Lee Deok-hyun, Head of Kia's Sustainable Management Office, and 25 multicultural youth participating in the first cohort of the program attended the entrance ceremony.

The 25 multicultural youth selected for this education program will participate in the program for a total of five months until August, starting with the entrance ceremony. They will experience various educational curricula and practical courses in four specialized fields?IT, F&B, video editing, and landscaping?that aid in career planning, thereby enhancing their individual self-reliance capabilities.
Job training and internships will be conducted in collaboration with outstanding social ventures and startups in each field. Additionally, special programs such as guest lectures by multicultural alumni, visits to Autoland, and personal profile photo shoots will be held concurrently.
Kia will provide transportation expenses and activity scholarships (during internships) to all students to motivate participation and self-reliance, and additional scholarships will be awarded to outstanding graduates.
Meanwhile, besides the education program, Kia has established a dedicated online platform for Harmonium and offers various content to support the independence of multicultural youth.
Through this, multicultural youth who previously had difficulty accessing self-reliance information can easily find information on multicultural youth support projects in one place, and through high-quality content provided by credible institutions, they are expected to cultivate the basic competencies necessary for social integration.
A Kia official stated, "We hope that the Harmonium Education Program will provide multicultural youth with practical opportunities for career planning and job experience," adding, "Kia will continue to develop various projects to help multicultural youth grow into healthy members of our society."
