Full Support from Legal Consultation to Dispute Mediation and Litigation by Lawyers and Experts
Daejeon City announced that it will provide customized legal services for local small business owners facing complex legal issues.
A team of 20 experts, including lawyers, patent attorneys, and tax accountants, will offer on-site legal consultations twice a week in various fields such as trademarks and patents, taxation, business closure, and business recovery.
If follow-up procedures such as dispute mediation, preparation of legal documents, or litigation are required as a result of the consultation, up to 3 million KRW in related expenses will be supported.
Applications are open until November 30 for small business owners in Daejeon City with annual sales of less than 300 million KRW.
Since 2023, Daejeon City has been running the legal service support program, providing a total of 196 cases of consultation and litigation cost support to date.
Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Economic Affairs at Daejeon City, said, "Through the legal support program, we are providing practical solutions so that small business owners can find early resolutions to conflicts and reach amicable agreements before issues escalate to litigation."
