'People's Right to Resist Gwanghwamun National Rally'
Organized by Daegukbon on the 5th
On the 5th, the day after the Constitutional Court's dismissal ruling, supporters of former President Yoon Seok-yeol held a rally in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, expressing their refusal to accept the ruling and protesting against it.
The Korea Straightening National Movement Headquarters (Daegukbon), led by Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church, held the "People's Right to Resist Gwanghwamun National Rally" in the area from Dongwha Duty Free Shop to Daehanmun in Jongno-gu that afternoon.
According to unofficial police estimates, 18,000 people participated in the rally as of 2 p.m. The organizers claimed that about one million people gathered.
Despite the rainy weather, participants at the rally shouted slogans such as "Nullify the fraudulent impeachment" and "Disband the Constitutional Court."

On the stage, there were continuous remarks condemning the eight constitutional justices as "traitors." Even the justices Jeong Hyeong-sik, Jo Han-chang, and Kim Bok-hyung, who had been classified as conservative, were targeted by the protesters.
Participants held placards with phrases such as "Eradicate anti-state forces" and "Invoke the people's right to resist," demanding the return of former President Yoon.
There were also claims rejecting an early presidential election. Among the participants, comments like "Is impeachment even reasonable?" and "There is no need for an early election in June" were heard. The host also asserted, "We must refuse the election and fight to the death until the truth of the fraudulent impeachment is revealed and President Yoon returns."
