Department of Visual Design at Pukyong National University Holds Scholarship Award Ceremony Honoring Professor Emeritus Kim Sunhwa

The Department of Visual Design, School of Information Convergence, Pukyong National University (Head Professor: Kim Sungpil), held the 'Professor Emeritus Kim Sunhwa Scholarship' award ceremony on the afternoon of the 3rd in the lecture room on the first floor of the Design Building.

The 'Professor Emeritus Kim Sunhwa Scholarship' was established with a donation of 20 million KRW from Professor Emeritus Kim Sunhwa, who contributed the funds for the benefit of her students prior to her retirement.

On this day, Professors Kim Sungpil, Jang Cheonggeon, Hong Dongsik, and Nam Yuntae from the Visual Design major awarded a total of 4,125,000 KRW in scholarships to 15 outstanding students. The scholarship recipients were: fourth-year students An Myeongcheol, Son Dayeon, Son Suryeon, Kim Sanghee, Song Hwanyeong; third-year students Kim Bukyeong, Ha Yun, Ha Hyerim, Lee Yujin, Hwang Seoyoung; and second-year students Jeong Yeonseo, Cheon Jiin, Choi Jinsol, Kim Sohyeon, and Kwon Bokyeong.

Since the second semester of the 2023 academic year, the Visual Design major at Pukyong National University has been awarding scholarships funded by professors, alumni, and companies each semester to support students' academic life.
