Special Guarantee Increased from 12 Billion KRW to Over 30 Billion KRW
Expansion of Youth Policy Support Eligibility
Kimcheon Mayor Bae Nakho has officially approved the "Local Economy Energy Revitalization Project" as his first executive order after taking office, accelerating efforts to boost the livelihood economy.
On the 3rd, Mayor Baek Nakho of Gimcheon City took his first official approval to expand support for small business owners to revitalize the local economy.
After receiving his certificate of election on the 2nd, Mayor Bae selected the "Local Economy Energy Revitalization Project" as his first agenda item for approval in his office on the 3rd. This decision is seen as a strong reflection of Mayor Bae's commitment to prioritizing the recovery of the local economy and strengthening support for small business owners.
In particular, the amount for the existing special guarantee for small businesses will be significantly increased from 12 billion KRW to over 30 billion KRW, allowing more self-employed individuals to receive financial support. In addition, the eligibility for youth policy benefits will be expanded from the current age of 39 to 45, broadening the range of support.
Policies directly connected to the livelihood economy will also be expedited. The city plans to establish an ordinance for a supply project that connects LPG storage facilities and pipelines in areas without city gas, and will actively allocate city budget to expand the project. This is expected to provide substantial relief to citizens' household expenses amid high oil prices.
Mayor Bae emphasized, "Revitalizing the local economy is the most important task regardless of the era," and added, "We will thoroughly implement the policies approved today to meet the expectations of our citizens."
Attention is focused on whether Kimcheon City can create a turning point for the recovery of the livelihood economy through Mayor Bae's policy drive.
