Citizen Participation in Advertisement Inspection and Improvement Suggestions
Busan Transportation Corporation (President Lee Byungjin) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting a "Citizen Advertising Inspection Team" to improve the quality of advertisements in the urban railway and to create a user-centered, pleasant advertising environment.
The recruitment period is from April 4 to 18, and any citizen residing in Busan who uses the urban railway at least once a week is eligible to apply. The application form can be downloaded from the corporation's website, filled out, and submitted via email to the person in charge. Approximately 15 members will be selected, taking into consideration regional and age balance, and the final results will be announced at the end of April.
The selected Citizen Inspection Team will receive brief training at the end of April before being appointed. For one year, they will inspect advertisements on subway lines 1 to 4, checking for ▲damage and contamination ▲exceeding the posting period ▲readability and appropriate placement ▲potential safety hazards, and more.
The Citizen Inspection Team will carry out inspection activities conveniently in their daily lives through SNS and other means, sharing their findings and suggesting improvements. In addition, they will conduct joint inspections with the corporation's advertising team twice a year and can directly provide opinions related to the maintenance and repair of advertisements.
During the activity period, the Citizen Inspection Team will receive incentives such as transportation expenses and official corporation merchandise, and at the end of the year, outstanding participants will be selected for additional rewards. Detailed information can be found on the Busan Transportation Corporation website.
Lee Byungjin, President of Busan Transportation Corporation, said, "We expect that real improvements reflecting the voices of users will be achieved as citizens who frequently use the urban railway directly inspect the advertising environment and provide feedback," and added, "We hope for the active participation of Busan citizens who are interested in the urban railway."
